    Lessons From 2023

    • Question your most fundamental beliefs. You are most blind to evidence that contradicts them.
    • Solve the most important problems, not the easiest or most comfortable ones.
    • Don’t assume you know it all. Be curious, gather information, seek disconfirming evidence, and triangulate opinions. Be open to being wrong.
    • Winning matters more than your ego. The best idea won’t always come from you. Don’t let pride prevent you from recognizing it.
    • Going in the right direction matters more than moving fast. Take time to validate your direction. It may save you years.
    • Being unhappy doesn’t make you make smarter decisions, so you might as well be happy. Same goes for being unhealthy.
As simple as possible but no simpler
